Unless stated, these measurements given are of the tutu itself. Other measurements are of the dancer and will be marked as such. Here are some helpful pointers of where these measurements correspond to. All measurements are given in INCHES with growth room as “+u” again in INCHES:
Bust-A horizontal band around the dancer at nipple height. This can be altered using the growth room
Cup Size-Where required the optimum cup size for the best fit
Chest-A horizontal band around the dancer just below the bust. This can be altered using the growth room
Waist-A horizontal band around the dancer at the smallest part of the waist; generally this is on a line with the belly button. This can be altered using the growth room
Underarm to waist-A vertical measurement down the side of the dancer from within the under arm to the line of the horizontal waist measurement
Upper hip-A horizontal band around the dancer at the top of the hip bones where the tutu will start from. This can be altered using the growth room but may be hampered in extreme alteration by the tutu. However, this can be worn with no change in the look of the tutu by a dancer with smaller measurements
Waist to upper hip-A vertical measurement down the side of the dancer from the line of the horizontal waist measurement to the line of the horizontal upper hip measurement
Lower hip-A horizontal band around the dancer at the widest part of the bottom. Any alteration at this point will be significantly hampered by the tutu. However, this can be worn with no change in the look of the tutu by a dancer with smaller measurements
Half girth-A vertical measurement from the horizontal waist measurement at centre front through the legs of the dancer to the horizontal waist measurement at centre back. This can be altered using the growth room but may be hampered in extreme alteration by the tutu. However, this can be worn with no change in the look of the tutu by a dancer with smaller measurements

Tutu T15/05
A beautiful lilac and off white number with a hint of lace and sparkle. Very elegant and understated with an english style bodice and a 10″ english tacked tutu in silk white, decorated with gathered lilac embroidered, beaded and sequinned georgette, overlaid with petals in lilac peach skin silk of two sizes. Empire line overlay of lilac embroidered, beaded and sequinned georgette with an embroidered edge which follows the line of the english bodice down at centre front. Eau de nil satin is set off by stunning sequinned and beaded embroidery and hints of old gold dupion in this very sophisticated tutu in a departure from the increasing sparkle of modern tutus back to a more simple style of tutus past. Simple motifs and lines allow for the strength of the dancer’s technique to show through and be supported by complementary costuming. Points on the decoration of the english bodice emphasise the length of line produced by the dancer through the upper body and arms. A circular plate is broken up by stared edges against a hooped 12.5″ silk white english style tutu.

A beautifully elegant baby pink and cream number with creamy gold brocades, beaded embroidery and pearl strings. Definitely one for a developing dancer moving towards more advanced techniques without overpowering the improving lines and techniques of the dancer. The bodice is decorated with an empire line overlay of pink, gold and cream brocade with an edge of cream pearls while the ivory hooped 12.5″ english style tacked tutu supports a short, baby pink full circle peplum edged with beautifully beaded soft gold lace flowers.
