I don’t often buy pretty bits as I have a large range in stock but I will often check as I research for new commissions what I have in and what I can do with it, often leading to me buying one or two bits which I know I will be able to use in numerous tutus.

I have been pondering over a new commission from a beautiful young dancer called Eloise who has pulled inspiration from a senior tutu I have in stock. More details will come as we go through the process but I could not resist these beautiful delicate gold laces, creamy pearls and preciosa crystals.

On another note this is why I always buy before I suggest things to a client and get samples: all three laces looked the same gold on the computer screen!
