FAQ-How long does it take to make a tutu?

From the start of my work on your costume to final delivery is 12 weeks.  This allows for any research to be completed, samples, fabrics and notions to be obtained, designing the final costume and multiple fittings, as well as the actual construction of the costumes.  This lead time is the same whether the item is made from stretch materials or is a non-stretch structured item, mail order or delivered locally.

If a costume is needed in less than 12 weeks I may still be able to make the requisite costume.  However, where I am able to complete a costume in less than 12 weeks, a number of steps will have to be forfeit.  Examples may include limitations to the fabrics and notions I currently haven stock, or a stretch costume over a structured costume.

Booking slots are available for completion of costumes up to and including six months in the future with each month opened in a block on the first of every month.  Thus bookings up to and including delivery in August 2016 are currently available but you must wait till the 1st March 2016 to book a costume slot for delivery in September 2016.  These slots can go quickly, however, so the sooner the better to ensure your costume slot!
