This was another of my three major pit-stops for Coalface Costumes while out in Cal and Nevada. While these items are no where near as pretty as the pieces from the LA fabric district they are some of the staples of professional tutus. Without these I could not make some of my pieces.
Say hello to 5 yards of AMERICAN coutil (unlike English coutil it bends!), two gross King Henry hooks and bars (a UK product we decided had no sale value in making any more. Richard’s is the only current maker!), and two great gross no 3 hooks and bars specifically with retention nooks.
Had a lovely walk round the shop and chat with the employees too. I hope I will be able to be back in person one day
