While I was in America I was contacted by a new dance wear shop back where I grew up about making them some tutus. Many business meetings later we are now up and running and I can now announce the partnership. So if you are in the Kimberley area of Nottingham please come in and say hello (and for the uninterested go downstairs to have a cuppa and an amazing cake at Mad Hatters) at Tutu Perfect!
So who are they? Claire and her family opened Tutu perfect only a few months ago but have already become firm favourites with dancers all over the local area. Their shop is a little aladin’s cave of course wear, show wear, sundries and sparkles with selfie mirrors and props, stage lights and the like. They sit opposite 3 hours free parking, ample time to browse and fit. If it isn’t in stock they are more than happy to order you one off items or a bulk order. My work with them will specialise in tutus, especially ones with lycra bodices, but I will also be available to work non-stretch and professional level tutus, mens ballet tunics and shirts, character and national costume and leotard based dresses, all in ones, racers etc for taps, moderns, lyricals, slow-dance, ballroom, songs, etc. If you are in the surrounding area and contact me directly I will strongly suggest that I work with you through Claire.
So if you are in the area THIS SATURDAY, I will be in the shop doing fittings and also helping with tutu/costume related queries and information. I have a fitting from 10.30-11.30am but will be around from 10-12.30 so will be free to talk things through both early and late morning before I have to dash off to another appointment.
As a sneak peak though as to one of the two tutus I will be delivering to Tutu Perfect before Christmas here is the completed hairpiece for a very lucky lady. Enjoy and see you there!
